Joanne Elizabeth Hitchcock - age: 71
(May 27, 1939 to February 06, 2011 ) Resident of Norwalk, Connecticut Visitation Information: Calling Hours: Her family will receive friends on Monday (TODAY) from 4 to 7PM at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk. Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM, on Tuesday February 8 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, East Norwalk. Obituary: Joanne Elizabeth Wentworth Hitchcock, age 71, died at NorwalkHospital on February 6, 2011. Born May 26, 1939 in Conway, NH, Joanne lived in Greenwich, CT for over 40 years before moving to Norwalk in 1984. Joanne worked in the Treasury Department at Save the Children for many years. Survivors include her husband of 49 years William Hitchcock of Norwalk, CT, her son David Hitchcock of Cincinnati, OH and her beloved granddaughters Alexis and Sierra Hitchcock also of Cincinnati OH. Joanne was preceded in death by her daughter Susan Elizabeth Hitchcock, her mother Alfreda Teague and her sister Judy Wentworth Creamer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM, on Tuesday February 8 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, East Norwalk.
