Calling Hours: Adelia’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home on Wed. from 6-8 PM.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, 10 AM, at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.

Obituary:
Adelia T. Buddy,"Dolly" age 85, of Norwalk, died at her home on Monday, February 21. She was the wife of the late Elmer R. Buddy. Born on September 16, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Hermine Borges De Sousa and has lived in Norwalk for most of her life. Adelia was retired from Automatic Signal in Norwalk where she had been an accounting supervisor. She was a member of the Norwalk Senior Center and loved to crochet, bake and cook.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Bradley and her husband Don, Jr. of Norwalk, her son Joseph Buddy and his wife Jennifer of Westport, sister Olivia Leone of Florida, 6 grandchildren, Adelia Rivera, David Buddy, Amy Hopp, Johnathan Fumega, Christie and Webster Pierce, 7 great grandchildren, Tom Forcier, Jr., Danny, Jennifer, Drew and Abigail Forcier, Paul Landau and Brianna Glynn, and several nieces and nephews. Adelia was also predeceased by her granddaughter Virginia Forcier and her siblings Octave and James Sousa, and Eva Paiva.
