Gladys’ family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk, CT on Monday, April 11 from 4-7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 11 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 265 Seaside Ave., Stamford, CT.

Obituary:
Louisa “Gladys” Bosch, age 93, of New Canaan, CT, died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the Stamford Hospital. She was the husband of the late John O. Bosch. Gladys was born on February 27, 1918 in Bethpage, NY, daughter of the late John and Rebecca Leidinger. She was a charter member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Hampton Bays, NY and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Stamford. Gladys was a volunteer at the Southampton Hospital Coffee Shop and former co-owner of Bosch’s Stationery Store for 20 years. As a young woman she owned and operated Gladys’ Beauty Shoppe.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Galasso and her husband Bill of Norwalk and Ellen Bonnet and her husband Jim of Murrieta, CA; a son, John O. Bosch, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her three sisters and one brother.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gladys’ name may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, CT Chapter (http://www.cff.org/Chapters/connecticut/) or Trinity Lutheran Church.
