Louise M Correnty - age: 95
(September 16, 1915 to April 17, 2011 ) Resident of Norwalk, Connecticut Visitation Information: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 20, 10 AM at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Rd., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery. Louise’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Obituary: Obituary for Monday, April 18 The Hour Greenwich Times Louise M. Correnty, age 95, of Norwalk, died suddenly on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Norwalk Hospital. She was the wife of the late Anthony D. Correnty. Louise was born in Greenwich on September 16, 1915, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Josephine Chiappetta Intrieri and has lived in Norwalk for the past 60 years. She will be remembered for her homemade Italian meals and her wonderful baking. Louise was an avid NY Yankee and Giants fan and especially loved spending time with her family. She was a former member of St. Mary’s Church and Women’s Guild and enjoyed needlework and gardening. Survivors include two sons, Anthony L. Correnty and his wife Gertrud of Cherry Hill, NJ, and Wayne M. Correnty and his wife Lucille of Norwalk, a brother, Fred Intrieri of Greenwich, a sister, Genevieve Ferri of White Plains, and many nieces and nephews. Louise was also predeceased by her son Kenneth L. Correnty, her brothers Michael, Rocco, Albert, Frank and Anthony Intrieri, and her sister Viola Della Pietro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 20, 10 AM at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Rd., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.
