Obituary:
Cecile Chabot, age 91 of Norwalk, died on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at home with her family. Born in Leominster, MA, the daughter of the late Albert and Adeline (Abel) Metivier, she was the wife of the late Charles E. Chabot. An active parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, she also enjoyed Thursdays at the Senior Center. She loved playing Bingo and spending productive hours in her yard. She is survived by her 4 loving children; Raymond Chabot and his wife Mary Lou, of Bridgewater, Norman and his wife Margaret “Peggy” of Indiana, Dorothy Youngs of Norwalk and Richard Chabot and his wife Maureen of Boynton Beach, FL, cherished grandchildren: Ruth, Debra, Robert, Stacey, Douglas, Cheryl and Mallery, and great-grandchildren; Collen Howard, Shawn, Aaron, Carter and Kyley, as well as 2 sisters, Yvette Beinerd and Rita Collard. She was predeceased by 3 grandchildren; Jeffrey Allen, Ruth and Christopher and her siblings Morris and Ray Metivier and Jeane Furlong.

Such a wonderful lady and a terrific aunt to me. She was there when I needed her most, with a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen. I will miss her contagious laugh and easy-going, happy-go-lucky attitude. GO YANKEES!!
