His family will receive friends on Friday from 4 to 8 pm at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk, with a prayer service to be held at 7pm. Burial will take place in Bolivia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his family.

Obituary:
Jerry David Branez, 47, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 8, 2011. A native of LaPaz, Bolivia, son of Martha and Benigno Branez of LaPaz, Bolivia, he was employed by Cablevision of So. CT for 12 years. He is survived by his loving wife Amanda L. Branez and their 3 children, Lena, Douglas and Christopher Branez of Stratford, CT. Other survivors include Aunt Norma and Uncle Vito, his brother Arturo and sisters Lourdez and Maria (Nelson) cousins Beatriz, Nellie, Jenny and Miguel, sister-in-laws Cathy and Yolanda, brother-in-law Gerard, godsons Gerard and Mitchel, goddaughters Sabrena and Camila. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and family members.

Mandy, Lena, Dougie and Chris, My thoughts are with you. I remember meeting Jerry 8-23-91 the day Dougie was born and a day after my Jonathan was born at Norwalk Hospital What a beautiful memory, also meeting, Mandy your Mom and little Lena. Then meeting you all gain at Christopher's Baptism. Then working with you both all these years, through good times and bad, happy and sad. I can't believe he is gone. He will be missed.
