It was with profound sorrow that I learned this evening of the passing of John “Howard” Anderson. On behalf of the officers and members of the Church Bowling League, I convey our deepest condolences on his passing. His influence for good sportsmanship extended throughout the league, and I am confident there were few men more loved and respected. He was a tremendous inspiration to those of us at the Church Bowling League who had the privilege of knowing and associating with him. I know that his inspiration will be a force for good for time immemorial.
