A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Wednesday, January 11 at St. Joseph Church, 85 S. Main St, Norwalk, with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 6 to 8pm at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk. Memorial donations may be directed to The Marvin/Under One Roof, 60 Gregory Blvd, Norwalk, CT 06855.

Obituary:
Margaret M. Toth, age 86, wife of the late William J. Toth, died on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Schervier Nursing Home in Riverdale, NY. Born in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Helen (Griffin) Wrenn, she was a longtime resident of Quintard Ave, Norwalk, and was very active with St. Joseph Parish activities and the Columbiettes. Peggy retired from Northeast Utilities after many years of service.
She is survived by her son Frank Toth and his partner Alan Metrick of NYC, a daughter Ellen Toth Feldman and her husband Edward of Riverdale, NY, two cherished grandchildren, Sarah and William Feldman, and a sister Julia McGrail. She was predeceased by two brothers; John and Daniel Wrenn.

I have been close friends with Margaret's daughter Ellen since fifth grade. I remember an intelligent, compassionate, loving, fair minded woman who I have a great deal of respect for. She taught me tolerance and kindness. I have wonderful memories of Margaret working in her kitchen on the most spectacular lemon meringue pies. I will miss her but will cherish my memories of her. My thoughts go out to all of her family and friends who I know miss here dearly as well.
