Obituary: Mary Ellen Karahalios, age 79 of Norwalk died on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Aurora Senior Living of Norwalk. Born in Norwalk, she was the daughter of the late James and Helen (Stabell) Morton and the wife of the late George Karahalios. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her sons; James Karas, of Lincoln, NE, John Karahalios of Waterbury and George C. Karahalios of Norwalk, 6 cherished grandchildren and 2 sisters; Joan Gratton and Nancy Santella. A Graveside service officiated by Rev.
