The Kalotai family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Tuesday, January 17, from 3-7 PM, with a service to be held at 6 PM. Burial will be private.

Obituary:
Charles Kalotai, age 82, of Norwalk, died peacefully at the Norwalk Hospital on Friday, January 13, 2012. He was the loving husband of Maria Fazekas Kalotai. Charles was born on September 6, 1929 in Und, Hungary, the son of the late Kalman and Juliana Horvath Kalotai and has lived locally for most of his life. He was retired from Pitney Bowes where he had worked as an engineer.
In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by his children John Kalotai and his wife Lenore, Kalman Kalotai, Katherine Burns and her husband William, and Marieanne Kalotai, his sister Anna Gosztom, sister-in-law Elisabeth Kaufmann, his niece Elisabeth McLay and many nieces and nephews throughout the U.S. and Europe, 6 grandchildren, Margaret Koenig and her husband Justin, Andrew, Christopher, Emily, Kyle and Jake, his great grandson Jackson. He was predeceased by his brothers Kalman and Rudolph, and his sisters Julia and Katherine.
The Kalotai family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Tuesday, January 17, from 3-7 PM, with a service to be held at 6 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Notre Dame Capital Development Fund, 76 West Rocks Rd., Norwalk, 06851
