(January 09, 1939 to January 22, 2012 ) Resident of Norwalk, Connecticut Visitation Information: A Memorial service will be held at 11am on Friday, January 27, at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk. Other services to be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to: ElderHouse, 7 Lewis St. Norwalk, CT 06851. Obituary: John R. Cuthbertson, age 73, of Norwalk, died on January 22, 2012 at the Hospital of St. Raphael, New Haven. Born in New York City, the son of Richard and Helen (Flanagan) Cuthbertson, he was raised in Greenwich and spent the last 45 years in Norwalk, with his wife Mary (Green) Cuthbertson. For the last years of his life John attended ElderHouse where he thrived and his family is extremely appreciative of the excellent care he received. In addition to his wife, Mary, he is survived by their daughter Beth Cuthbertson, a sister Barbara McDonough and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 brothers.
