Obituary:
Stanley Baxa III, age 55 of Norwalk, son of Stanley Jr and the late Julia Marie (Yamolkoski) Baxa, died on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Norwalk Hospital after a long illness. Born in Norwalk, he was a lifelong resident and graduate of Wright Tech. He was predeceased by his longtime companion, Cecilia "Ceil" Taylor, who was the joy of his life. In addition to his loving father, he is survived by his sister, Patricia Baxa of Kensington. Stanley was an avid fisherman and motorcycle enthusiast and also enjoyed working in the garden. To Stan's family and friends. I'm so sorry to hear of Stan's illness and passing. I had not seen him for many years and unfortunately we did not keep in touch. During Jr. HS @ Roton we had a band along with 2 other guys. We were not very good but had fun. We played the hits of the time...Purple Haze, Proud Mary Mississippi Queen, etc. I also went to Wright Tech with Stan. He had developed into a pretty good guitarist by that time as I recall. Stan was a fun guy to be around. My heartfelt condolances go out to all those close to him. Fred Deysenroth
