Gram, I'll miss you. You were the strongest woman I've ever met, and I am incredibly grateful to have known you, let alone be your grandson. I still make my artichokes just the way you taught me (except mine have garlic). I'll never forget growing up amidst Christmas parties overflowing with storybook-style Italian joyfulness, and all the other countless wonderfully fun and loving events you all-but single-handedly put together. For all that you brought to this world and its people (and me), I'm truly grateful. To my family who shares in this sad time, let's rejoice in the years we've had, and not the years we won't.

Sending my love to the Bria families. I surely know that I am truely grateful for having this incredible woman in my life for all these years. I have so many fond memories of Easter at her home in Norwalk. My parents Jim & Barbara loved her dearly (& so did I) and when I was born she became my Godmother. She is someone that I will continue to look up to for all her strength and diginity. I recently had a visit with her, Bobby and my two little girls; it had been awhile since I had a visit with her. But it was wonderful to be with her and to see how she lit up watching my girls interact with her and made a picture for her during our visit. We have a very sweet picture of the 4 of us from that day that I will cherish forever. Rest in peace Godmother, I love you!
