Clayton Wellington Burrows - age: 50
(July 11, 1960 to October 06, 2010 ) Resident of Norwalk, Connecticut Visitation Information: A celebration of Clayton’s life will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., at 10 AM. His family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 AM until services begin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society or STAR, Inc. Obituary: Obituary for Thurs., 10/7 Clayton Wellington Burrows, 50 years old, of Norwalk, Connecticut was born on July 11, 1960 and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 06, 2010 after an extended illness. He was the son of the late Wilton Garnett Burrows and Agnes Ruth (Tabscott) Burrows. In addition to his mother, Clayton is survived by one brother, Dennis Burrows, and three sisters Alicia Burrows-Mezu (John), Melissa Burrows, and Lurline Burrows. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends and extended family members. Clayton was born and raised in Norwalk, Connecticut and attended Norwalk public schools. He worked at Stew Leonard’s for many years and most recently was employed at Stop and Shop before his illness. Clayton loved bike riding, hockey, and was an avid Mets fan. Clayton participated in various activities through STAR, Inc. and was beloved by many friends. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the employees of STAR, Inc., Paradigm Healthcare Center, healthcare providers, and a host of friends for their adoration and ongoing support to Clayton during his life and recent illness. My condolences, I am saddened to hear of his passing, it was always great to see Clayton, although I always seemed to run into him when my Bruins weren't playing very well, he'd always be sure to point that out to me.
