A Mass of Christian Burial for Agnes will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 26, 9:30 AM at St. Mary Church, 669 West Ave., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Monday (today) from 5-8 PM. Contributions may be made to St. Mary Church. Obituary:
Agnes Y. Bilodeau, age 97, of Norwalk, died peacefully on Friday, October 22 at the Honey Hill Care Center. She was the wife of the late Ovila N. Bilodreau. Agnes was born on December 18, 1912 in Cascade, NH, daughter of the late Josephier and Eugenie Cloutier and has lived in Norwalk for the past 68 years. She worked for Supreme Slipper and Famous Artists Schools. Agnes was a former member of the Columbiettes and a long time member of St. Mary’s Parish in Norwalk. She was an avid bowler and gardener, and enjoyed her crafts. Agnes also loved to cook and entertain and adored her grand and great grandchildren.
Agnes is survived by her three children and their spouses; Dolores Pappolla Ballester and her husband Robert of East Haven, Larry and Marie Bilodeau and Jackie and Mickey Leone, all of Norwalk, 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Agnes was also predeceased by a grandson, David Leone, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
