    Albert A. “Butch” Boczer, age 86 of Norwalk, died peacefully at his home in Norwalk.  He was the loving husband of the late Doris Gagnon Boczer.  Al was born in Norwalk on July 14, 1929, the son of the late Andrew (Andor) and Mary Keskes Boczer.  He was a graduate of Norwalk High School, Class of 1947 and a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the U.S. Army.  Butch worked for many years in the heating and air conditioning business, first for Roy Brothers and then retiring from L.J. Denner.  He was a sports enthusiast and in 2002 was honored by the Norwalk Old Timers.

     Survivors include his children and their spouses Deborah and John DiScala, Keith and Deborah Boczer, all of Norwalk, and Karin and Kenneth Csehak of Trumbull, 7 grandchildren; Lauren Healy and her husband Peter, John and David DiScala, Justin and Mark Boczer, K.C. and Kristopher Csehak, 2 great grandsons, Jaxton and Camden, and his dear friend Ernie Mariott, who was like a brother.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Rd., Norwalk on Monday, September 14 at 10 AM.  Family and friends will meet at church and burial will follow at St. John Cemetery.  Butch’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave. on Sunday from 4-7 PM.  In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project (http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate.aspx).
