Anna Rose DeMartino

Anna Rose DeMartino, age 92, beloved wife of the late Anthony N. DeMartino passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at home. Anna was born in Orange, New Jersey on April 8, 1924, daughter of the late Vincent and Rose (Nolfi) Alviggi.

Anna had worked for Metro North Railroad as a Transportation Accountant in South Norwalk, Bridgeport and New Haven. A past President for the Columbiettes, Council 46, in addition to positions, a past State Officer for Connecticut, former financial secretary and past District Deputy for the  State of Connecticut, and a Eucharistic Minister for St. Matthews Church.

 She is survived by neighbors, Anne and Tom Mulligan, church friends, Barbara and Mark Sibiskie, Sister Sally Norcross, Richard Albertelli, her aide, Marie and beloved cat Pepper.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 10 AM in St. Matthews Church, 216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk. Calling hours will be on Monday, January 16, from 4 to 7 at The Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk.
