Anna Mae (Sulla) Ross

     Anna Mae Ross, age 85 of Norwalk and wife of the late Joseph F. Ross, Sr., died peacefully at Wilton Meadows on Wednesday, May 4, 2016.  She was born in Norwalk on October 27, 1930, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Wilcox Sulla and has lived here of her life.  Anna was a former employee of MBI and was a member of the Norwalk Senior Center, the Widow and Widowers Assoc. and the Red Hat Ladies.  She enjoyed playing Bingo, Pinochle and watching Jeopardy and reading mystery stories.  She also enjoyed numerous trips to Maine and Las Vegas

     Survivors include two sons, Joseph F. Ross and his wife Kathleen, Robert Ross and his partner Lynn Delrocco, three daughters, Doreen Havens and her husband Peter, Leslie Vagnone and her husband Ted, and Cathleen Clark and her husband Donald, 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brothers Joseph Sulla II and John Sulla, and her sister Lillian Rackett.

     Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 7 at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery.  Anna’s family will receive friends at the funeral home today (Friday) from 5-8 PM.  Anna’s family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of Wilton Meadows and the hospice volunteers.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., 200 Executive Blvd., Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489 (http://www.alz.org/ct/).
