Carmelle M. (Doyon) Pepin

     Carmelle M. Pépin, 83, of Saint Ludger, Québec, Canada, beloved wife of Bertrand B. Pépin of Norwalk, died on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Georges and Elizabeth (Bernard) Doyon, a sister, Suzanne Gilbert, and a brother, Henri-Noël Doyon. A member of both St. Mary's Church, and the Columbiettes, a Catholic women's organization, Carmelle was an avid walker and gardener. She devoted her life to her family, enjoyed knitting, sewing, and baking. She also loved music, sang, and played guitar.

     In addition to her loving husband of over 60 years, she is survived by five daughters, Danielle, Lucie, Louise, Caroline, and Nancy and two sons-in-law, Jack Arb and Philip Ross, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a sister, Marie Larson.

     Her family will receive friends on Friday, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, at St. Mary's Church, 669 West Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06850. Memorial donations may be directed to St. Mary's Church.
