Carmen A. Falcone, 77, of Norwalk, died on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in NYC, the daughter of the late John and Clemencia (DeSoiza) Falquero, she was the wife of the late Nicholas S. Falcone. Carmen worked for Northrup Grumman/Norden Systems as an inspector for many years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, former Housing Commissioner, Common Council member and past President of the Colonial Village Assoc.
Predeceased by her granddaughter, Emily Pompa and brother Richard Falquero, Carmen is survived by her children: Nicholas (Patricia Mastrianna) Falcone Jr., Laurie (John) Pompa and Diane (Albert) Vuoso, 7 grandchildren: Richard Raymond Jr, Melissa Raymond, Brittany Falcone, Nicholas Falcone III, Brianna, Jessica and Albert Vuoso Jr., 6 great-grandchildren; Aaliyah, Matthew, Giovanni, Isabella, Dominick and Gabriella, a brother John (Laura) Falquero, as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial, to be held at 10AM on Wednesday, June 7 at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave, Norwalk, followed by burial at St. John Cemetery.
