October 28, 1949 ~ September 18, 2016 (age 66) 66 Years Old

     Carmine P Bucca passed away from cancer in his home on Sunday September 18, 2016.  Born Oct 28, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Mary Arcamone Bucca and Santo Bucca, he moved to Norwalk when he was 7 years old and has lived here ever since.

He is survived by Debra Dudas Bucca, his wife of 46 years, his son Lance Bucca and his daughter Leigh Bucca Jeffers and her husband Rob Jeffers all of Norwalk, one brother, John Bucca of Weston CT, three sisters: Mary Bucca Varanai of CA, Theresa Bucca and Rosalie Bucca Troy, both of Shelton CT,1 niece Ann Varanai of CA, 5 nephews: Michael Varanai of CA, Brian McDonald, Joe McDonald, and Ben Troy of Shelton Ct, and Jack Bucca of Weston. Ct.

     He graduated from Brien McMahon then served in the Navy and was a machinist for his father-in-law in Greenwich.  Carmine was the starter and caddy master for Shorehaven Golf Club in East Norwalk for over 26 years.  He was a volunteer basketball coach for St Thomas the Apostle School, and helped backstage for Bea Brautigam Studio B fundraisers for over 15 years.

     Carmine’s family meant the world to him. He loved animals, the outdoors and golfing, watching the NY giants, playing cards with his family, and going to the casino.

He will be remembered for his great smile, and will be missed immensely.

     Carmine’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 21, from 4-8 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk, with a service to begin at 7:15.
