Dolores S Rogers

Dolores S. Rogers, 88 of Danbury, wife of the late John A. Rogers, died on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 in Danbury. Born in Norwalk, the daughter of the late John and Julia  Seaman, she had worked for S.N.E.T. as a phone operator for many years.

 A longtime member of St. Gregory’s Church in Danbury, she was also a member of the Brookfield Seniors, AARP and SNET Retired Workers.  She enjoyed travel, gardening and most of all spending time with her family.

Dolores is survived by her 4 sons; Kevin Rogers and his wife Claire of West Haven, Bruce Rogers and his wife Jo-Ann of Norwalk, James Rogers and his wife Katherine of Brookfield, and John Rogers and his wife Janice of Stratford, NY, 8 loving Grandchildren, and 13 cherished Great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her sister Eleanor Toth, brother Eugene Seaman, and grandson Michael Rogers.

Her family will receive friends on Thursday, Nov 19, from 4 – 8 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday, Nov 20, directly at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, 203 East Ave, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to: the Alzheimer’s Association (Alz.org)
