Frances DiMassa, age 94, married for over 55 years to the late Joseph DiMassa passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Wilton Meadows Health Care Center. Frances was born on March 21, 1921 to the late Thomas and Immaculata DeMeglio.
Frances is survived by two daughters, Theresa Gilchrist and her husband Todd, and Marie Wells and her husband Ron. In addition she leaves two grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, her sister Anna Massaro and husband Joseph as well as several nieces and nephews. She was pre deceased by her brothers James and Nicholas DeMeglio.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 10 AM in St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk, with burial to follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk. There will be no calling hours. The family requests that donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101-9950.
