Fred E Petrini

Fred E. Petrini, age 87, of Norwalk, beloved husband of Catherine (Gaeta) Petrini passed away on Tuesday April 21, 2015 at Norwalk Hospital. Fred was born in Norwalk the son of the late Ferdinand and Mary (Lombardi) Petrini.

Fred was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served overseas in 1945. He worked for the First District Water Dept. for 47 years.

In addition to his wife, Fred is survived by 2 sons, Frederick and girlfriend Elaine, Jerry and wife Gigi, 4 grandchildren, Cathy, Jason, Matthew and Jerry Petrini as well as several nieces and nephews. Fred was predeceased by a brother James E. Petrini.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk, with Entombment to follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk. There will be no calling hours.
