I remember George and his brother the first time they came into the Mansion for a tour and I was a volunteer there at the time. As the years progressed he became very active at the Museum and he was always a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable and interesting to talk with. I have many fond memories of those days. May he Rest In Peace.

Though it's been many, many years, I have very fond memories of our time as volunteers at Lockwood Matthews Mansion. I am so very sorry to hear of George's passing. My deepest condolences to David and the rest of the family.

Laura and I were so,sorry to hear of George's passing. I remember discussing antiques and going to,shops along with David. Sending prayers.

George, you were more than a friend and a dear cousin but my soul mate. I will miss our morning chats and visits, my heart is heavy and I feel lost. May you be free of pain and find rest as you fought so hard for life and it's pleasures. My sincere condolences and love to David and Aunt Georgie.
