James F. McFeely

James F. McFeely, age 76, husband of the late Mary Roberts McFeely, died on June 11, 2017 at his home in Westport. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he worked as a teacher. James enjoyed translating the classics from Greek and Latin into English. He also wrote poetry.
 James is survived by his 4 children: Helen McFeely of New Mexico, Madeleine McFeely of Norwalk, Friar Jude, Mary of the Previous Blood, FI, of Griswold, and Mary McFeely of Argentina, 8 grandchildren, and a sister-in-law, Frances McFeely as well as his nieces and nephews: Thomas, Joan, John, Mary, Kathleen and Michael.
 His family will receive friends on Wed., June 14, from 5-8 pm at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Thurs., at Assumption Church Westport with burial to follow at Assumption Cemetery, Greens Farms.
