Joan Emily (Eaton) Maleski

Joan Emily Eaton Maleski, loving wife, mother, grandmother, born in Stamford, CT on December 22, 1939 passed on from us on June 2, 2016 atthe home of her daughter, surrounded by her family.

Joan held a secret clearance with the U.S Government while in AMR’s Titan Missle Division, as well as an administrative assistant positions at various companies, but was happiest as a homemaker and visiting her beloved Maine Coast.

Her love of photography was well known. A member of St. Thomas the Apostle Rosary Society, Prayer Shawl Ministry, she also served as Publicity Chair, photographer and worker of hospitality at A.A.R.P. Chapter #3929. She was also a member of the Norwalk Woman’s Club, Red Hat Ladies and Bible Study Group.

Joan is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Edward M. Maleski, Jr., her daughter Michelle Diane Minogue, son-in-law Martin, grandchildren Kaylie Joan, Mitchell Edward Thomas and Colin Maxwell.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave, Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave., Norwalk. At the request of the family there will be No Calling Hours. The Magner Funeral Home, Norwalk is handling arrangements.
