Joann (Coppola) Sarno

Joann Coppola Sarno, age 90, of Norwalk, beloved wife of William Sarno for 71 years, died on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Naples, Italy, she worked for Pac-Kit, Burndy Corp and Remington-Rand. She was blessed with a green thumb and enjoyed flower gardening.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by a daughter Connie Stritch and her husband Andrew of Bridgeport and a son Salvatore Sarno and his wife Rosalie of Mamaroneck, NY, grand-daughter Stacy Van Matre, a sister Marguerite of Italy and several cousins nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends on Sunday, May 17 from 2 to 6 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM on  Monday at St. Matthew Church, Norwalk with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.
