Josephine Theresa (Masi) Flynn

Josephine Theresa Flynn, 88, of Norwalk, wife of Charles P. Flynn, Sr. for over 64 years, died on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Norwalk, daughter of the late James and Theresa (Nardi) Masi, she was a graduate of Norwalk High School- Class of 1946, and remained active with the class reunion committee. She worked as a bookkeeper for Valerie Trucking, Avrick Furniture Company, Aitoro Appliance Company and Wilton Floor Covering.  Josephine always enjoyed hosting family gatherings. She was predeceased by her daughter, Mary Flynn.
In addition to her loving husband Charles, she is survived by their son Charles P. Jr. of Norwalk, and a brother James (Patricia) Masi of Cape Elizabeth, ME, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, May 22 from 4-8 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 23 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to; St Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org)
