Leila "Lee" A. (Stauring) Taylor

Leila “Lee” A. Taylor, 98 of Norwalk, died on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Herkimer, NY, the daughter of the late Victor and Maude (Bowman) Stauring, she was the wife of the late Carl A. Taylor.  Lee was a past Norwalk Boat Club trustee and member of the Rowayton Fire Dept. Women’s Auxiliary for many years.

Also predeceased by her daughter Barbara Krausse, sisters Mary McMillan and Theresa LiBritz and a brother Harry Stauring, Leila is survived by 2 sons Edward Taylor of Black Rock, Carl Taylor and his wife Susan of Riverside, R.I., Son-in-law Clifford Krausse of Norwalk, 6 loving Grandchildren, 11 cherished Great-grandchildren and 2 Great-greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, Dec 1 at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk, with burial to follow at Fairfield Memorial Park, Stamford. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home beginning at noon.
