May 31, 1936 ~ April 6, 2015 (age 78) 78 Years Old

   We will celebrate the life of our mother Lorraine F. Laszlo, age 78, of Norwalk, she went peacefully with GOD, at her home on Monday, April 6, surrounded by her family.  She was born in Norwalk on May 31, 1936, the daughter of the late Anton and Bertha Frank.  She was a graduate of Katherine Gibbs. She was an owner of Young Friends Pre School in Norwalk for many years before joining Exxon Chemical in Houston TX.,  where she remained until her retirement..

   Her passion in life was her grandson Jackson with whom she enjoyed music and laughter.  She was an avid gardener, creative knitter and she loved to shop a good sale.  Lorraine also enjoyed nature, especially bird watching in her back yard where she fed and cared for them each day.  She was a lifelong friend and member of the “Clubbers”, she loved you ladies dearly.  Above all she was our best friend along with our mother and we will cherish her memory as we cherished her in life.    

    Survivors include 2 daughters; Shari Laszlo and Jacki Laszlo Roberts, her grandson Jackson Roberts, her grand-pup Biscuit, all of Norwalk, 2 brothers, Richard and his wife JoAnn of Shelton and Anthony and his wife Sandy Frank of Florida, 2 nephews Michael and Steven Frank and an uncle Kuno Misselbeck of Shelton CT.  Lorraine was predeceased by her daughter Heidi Laszlo, her step-mother Maya Frank, and our other favorite red-head Gator, surely they were all waiting at the gates of Heaven for her arrival.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to World Wildlife Fund on line atwww.wolrdwildlife.org

     Please come and celebrate her love of life with us on Saturday, April 18, 11:00 AM, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave., Norwalk.
