Maria (Conte) Treglia

Maria Conte Treglia, age 76 of Norwalk, passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 18. Born in Minturno, Italy, the only child of the late Pasquale and Elisa Conte, she was the beloved wife of Antonio Treglia for 56 years. She and her husband came to the U.S. in 1961, where she worked as a supervisor for Swank until retiring in 1994.
In addition to her devoted husband Antonio, Maria is survived by her loving daughter Maria Luisa and husband Richard Gagstetter Jr. of Norwalk, 2 cherished grand-daughters; Elisa Margaret Noble and Kristina Rose McNamara and 3 great-grandchildren; Madison, Jordyn and Kolton, who were her life.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, July 24 beginning at 9AM,  at the Magner Funeral Home 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:30 AM ,at St Mary Church, with entombment to follow at St. John Cemetery.
