Mary T. (Licari) Kindilien

Maria “Mary” T. Kindilien, age 93, lifelong resident of Norwalk, died on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at her home after a 5 year battle with cancer. Born in Marsala, Sicily, Italy, the daughter of the late Victor and Rose (Chirco) Licari, she was the devoted wife of the late Edward W. Kindilien. Mary worked as a machine operator at Harlick Bag for many years and also for Myers Handbag and was a member of St. Joseph Church.

She is survived by her 2 daughters: Janice A. Taccone and her husband Gaetano, and Donna M. Kindilien, 3 cherished grandchildren: Joseph Taccone and his wife Natalia, Lisa and Laura Taccone and a great-granddaughter, Gabriella Taccone, all of Norwalk, a sister Anne Frazier and a brother Victor Licari Jr. and his fiancée Beverly Kochiss, and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday April 21 at St. Joseph Church, 85 S. Main St, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery. Her family will receive friends on Monday from 5 to 8 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. Memorial donations may be made to:  The Connecticut Hospice, Inc., 100 Double Beach Rd.
