Norbert Metzger

Norbert A. Metzger, 72, of Norwalk, died on Saturday evening, Sept 10, 2016 at Mt. Sinai Hospital in NY. Born in Budingen, Germany, the son of Robert and Irmgard (Emel) Metzger, he was the beloved husband of Judith Ann (Libuha) Metzger for 50 years. He owned Metzger Construction and was a carpenter and general contractor.  
 
In addition to his wife Judith, he is survived by their children; Kristen, Robert (and wife Michelle) and James.  He was predeceased by his brother; Frank Booth Jr. his sister Heidi Bodner and uncle Frank Wenzel.
 
He enjoyed hunting, playing cards, camping, being with his family and his woodwork.
 
His family will receive friends and celebrate his life on Friday, Sept 16, from 4 to 7 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, with remembrances beginning at 6PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: P.A.W.S. or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (Stjude.org) in his name.
