Peter Antonio Cimino

     Peter A. Cimino, age 91 of Norwalk, died peacefully at the Norwalk Hospital on Sunday, October 29.  He was the loving husband of Aida Maruca Cimino.  Known as “Uncle Tony” by his nieces and nephews, he was born in Italy on October 10, 1926, son of the late Eduardo and Maria Cimino  He was a retired machinist with Norden Systems and also worked for C.R. Gibson, enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.

     Survivors include his brother Benito Cimino of Italy and many nieces and nephews in the U.S., Italy and Australia.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Nov. 2, 10 AM at St. Mary Church, 669 West Ave., Norwalk, with entombment to follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Stratford.  Peter’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Thursday morning from 8:30-9:30 AM.
