Princess Lovina Wright

     Princess Lovina Wright, age 91 of Norwalk, passed away peacefully in Norwalk on Saturday, October 10, 2015.  Born in Jamaica on April 30, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Thomas Wright and Edith McIntyer-Wright, and has lived in Norwalk since 1974.  Princess worked for many years in Jamaica and in Wilton as a nanny.  She was very involved with the Mt. Zion Baptist Church as both a Deaconess and a Missionary.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

     Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy Hudson, a brother Jonathan Wright, sisters Alverga Wright and Phyllis Wright-Grey, grandchildren Sandralee Guytan, Christopher and Kingsley Hudson, great granddaughters Shaleza, Taijaih, Jade and Jasmine, and a host of nieces and nephews.  Princess was also predeceased by her siblings Rashford, Reginald, Harris and Claudius Wright, Doris Wright-Hunter, and Ivorin Wright-Rodney.  She is also survived the Moskowitz family of Wilton, CT., Alice, Allan and family, and Dana, whom she cared for for over 30 years and grew to love as her own family.

     Services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 10:30 AM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 96 S. Main St., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.  The family will receive friends at the church also on Saturday from 9:30 AM until services begin
