Rose (Boccia) Esposito, age 79, beloved wife of the late Joseph Michael Esposito, passed away on Friday July 15, 2016 at Norwalk Hospital surrounded by her family. Rose was born on August 20, 1936 in Naples, Italy to the late Natale and Rosa (Salvati) Boccia.

Rose was a devout catholic who enjoyed singing in the St. Thomas choir. She was also a Eucharistic Minister who would go door to door giving communion to those who could not attend mass.  She loved gardening, telling stories, cooking, and hosting all special events at her home. Rose was always lending a helping hand and frequented the local nursing homes visiting the sick and volunteering to help in any way she could. She was very involved in her children, grandchildren, and great grand children's lives and will be greatly missed.

Rose is survived by 2 daughters, Jo Ann Esposito- Karcsmar and Patricia Ann Pocograno, 4 grandchildren, Monica and Anthony Karcsmar, Nicole and Jacob Pocograno, 2 great grandchildren, Felicity Bonet and Skyylar Feggins as well as a brother Salvatore Boccia, a sister Maria Cappuccia and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday July 21, 2016 at 10 AM in  St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk. Entombment will follow in St. John Cemetery. Calling hours will take place on Wednesday, July 20, from 5 to 8PM at The Magner Funeral Home 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk.
