Rose (La Sorte) Maiorino

Rose Maiorino, 84, of Norwalk, died peacefully at Norwalk Hospital on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, with her loving family by her side. Born in Monopoly, Italy, the daughter of Francesco and Annunciata (D’Alessandro) Lasorte, she was the wife of the late Armondo Maiorino who passed away in 2012.

Rose is survived by her children: Michael Maiorino and his fiancée Shari Saltarelli, Louis Maiorino, Nancy Layman and her husband Gregg, all of Norwalk, and Laura Jennings of Monroe, 6 cherished grandchildren; Dana, Michael, Haley Maiorino and Peter, John and Caroline Jennings, brothers  Scipione Lasorte and Vitantonio Lasorte both of Italy and Peter Lasorte of Brooklyn, NY and a sister Lorenza Marciano Agostinelli of S.C.

Her family will receive friends on Monday, Feb 20, from 5- 8 pm, at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Tues at St. Jerome Church, Norwalk with burial to follow at Willowbrook Cemetery, Westport.
