Rosemarie Tremonte

Rosemarie Tremonte, age 68 of Norwalk, died peacefully at the Norwalk Hospital on Friday, January 6, after a brief illness.  Born in Norwalk on November 1, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Saundo and Lucy Allegretta Tremonte.  She attended local schools and was retired from Norwalk Community College as an executive secretary.  Rosemarie enjoyed history, classic movies, Greek mythology and loved spending time with her family.

     Survivors include three brothers; Edward Tremonte and his wife Janet of Brookfield, Joseph Tremonte and his wife Natalie and Nicholas Tremonte and his wife Patricia, all of Norwalk.  She was also survived by several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 11, 10 AM at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.  Rosemarie’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Tuesday from 4-7 PM.  Contributions in her name may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 or to the National Kidney Foundation, Inc., 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY, 10016.
