Stephen M. Siladi

Stephen Michael Siladi, age 55, a lifelong resident of Norwalk, died peacefully on January 13, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  He was a hard-working, strong, compassionate and generous person who made friends wherever he went.

Stephen loved spending time with his family and friends, and was especially fond of his new granddaughter, who kept his spirits high each day.  He could be found on the ski slopes or snowmobile trails in Vermont, the beach in Nantucket or anchoring out at Cockenoe Island.  He was an avid gardener and a skillful craftsman and builder.  At the age of 18, Stephen started his own business, Siladi Builders, which will continue to thrive under his son, Michael. 

Stephen joins his beloved wife, Anna, and his mother, Bea, in heaven and is survived by his son, Michael, his daughter and son-in law, Krista and Adam and his granddaughter Annabel.

He is also survived by his father, Louis, his sister and brother-in-law, Debbi and Jim, his sister Jill, his sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Wayne, his twin sisters, Elaine and Linda, as well as many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
