Victor S Hernandez

 Victor S. Hernandez, age 62, husband of Ana Calderon Hernandez, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016, at Norwalk Hospital surrounded by his family.  Victor was born in Costa Rica on August 30, 1952, the son of the late Manuel and Carmen (Arroyo) Hernandez. Victor was a mechanic for the Laidlaw Bus Company, he enjoyed visiting his native country Costa Rica and visiting his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Victor is survived by his 11 brothers and sister spanning from the U.S to Costa Rica and his only two children, son Erik Hernandez, of Norwalk and daughter Jocelyn Hernandez of Stamford, six grandchildren, Izaiah Hernandez, Erik Hernandez Jr, Jonathon Hernandez, Isabella Smith, Daniel Hernandez and Sophia Smith as well as several nieces and nephews whom he adored.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday February 12, at 10 AM at St. Joseph's Church, 85 South Main Street. Norwalk. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery 81 Riverside Avenue, Norwalk. 

Calling hours will take place on Thursday, February 11, from 5 to 7 PM at The Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk.
