December 9, 1929 ~ February 9, 2017 (age 87) 87 Years Old

Vincent James Modugno 87 of Norwalk husband of Josephine Modugno for 61 yrs. and son of Luigi Modugno and Assunta Modugno of Naples, Italy passed away peacefully at home on Feb 9th with his loving family there. 
Vincent was a husband , father, grandfather and great grandfather
Vincent was born in Brooklyn NY. on Dec. 9, 1929
He attended Brooklyn College, CCNY and Fordham University for Radio Broadcasting.
He was a radio announcer known as Paul Victor for 21 years at various radio stations and then worked at the Norwalk Police Dept as a 911 dispatcher for 19 yrs
Vincent was predeceased by his brother Diego Modugno. 
Survivors in addition to his loving and devoted wife include his sister Anna DePrima of Florida and 
3 children, 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and their families, 
son Louis Modugno and his son Thomas Modugno of Norwalk, son Joseph Modugno of Norwalk, 
daughter Maria Modugno-Marcinek and her husband Michael Marcinek of Seymour and her children,
Nicole Hayden and husband Shawn Hayden of Derby
Danielle Cardinale and husband Joseph Cardinale and their son Joseph (Olive Eyes) Cardinale Jr. of Shelton
Nicholas DeMaio Jr. and his fiancé Caitlin Verespie of Fairfield.
Vincent was a big old Brooklyn Dodgers, Mets and Dallas Cowboys fan.
His favorite hobby was reading, writing songs and listening to the radio.
His wish was to have his body donated to Yale School of Medicine for research.
A mass celebration will be held at St Marys Catholic Church on 669 West Ave. Norwalk Ct on Feb 18 at 11:00 and a reception to follow at the VFW on 465 Riverside Ave in Westport, Ct
In lieu of flowers , contributions in Vincent's memory may be made to his favorite foundation St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN. 38105
