Elizabeth "Betty" (Evans) Pavlik

Elizabeth “Betty” Pavlik, age 91 of Norwalk, died peacefully at the Norwalk Hospital on July 4, 2018.  She was the wife of the late Cyril “Cy” Pavlik.  Betty was born in Norwalk on November 10, 1926, the daughter of the late Stephen and Elizabeth (Varga) Evans.  She attended Norwalk schools and worked for several years with the Norwalk Housing Authority.  She was a former member of the Shore & Country Club and enjoyed tennis, gardening and walking in her younger years.  She later enjoyed playing golf, visits to Cape Cod with her friends and playing mahjong at the Norwalk Senior Center.

Betty is survived by her three children; Robert and his wife Gretchen, Nancy McClinch and her husband Pat, Janet Johns and her husband Dan, her four grandchildren James, Ryan, Katherine and Timothy, and several nieces and nephews.  She was also predeceased by her brother William Evans and her sister Marjorie Crawford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 16, 10:30 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 216 East Ave., Norwalk with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to an animal shelter of your choice.
