Geraldine Helen (Lacko) Lovas

     Geraldine Lacko Lovas, age 80, beloved wife of Edward Lovas for 58 years passed away at home surrounded by her family. Geraldine was born in Norwalk on October 30, 1937, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Lacko.

     She worked as a night time switchboard operator at Norwalk Hospital. She enjoyed going to Atlantic City and Foxwoods. She was passionate about her grandchildren and life. She loved cars, shopping, and cooking.

     In addition to her husband, Geraldine is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth, 2 grandchildren, Katherine and Elizabeth, a sister Grace and her husband Mario Benedetto, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Irma Luciano and Elizabeth Horton.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at St. Matthew Church at 10 AM, burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. There will be no Calling Hours. Any donations are to be made to the Norwalk Hospital Emergency Department.
