Giselle (Thibodeau) Iannazzo

     Giselle T. Iannazzo, age 91 of Norwalk, died peacefully at the Norwalk Hospital on Thursday, November 30.  She was the beloved wife for 66 years of the late Felix “Phil” Iannazzo.  Giselle was born in Sanford, Maine on August 10, 1926, the daughter of the late William and Yvonne Ashby Thibodeau and has lived locally since 1929. 

     She was very artistic and especially enjoyed painting.  Giselle enjoyed going on cruises, the Oakdale Theater and occasional casino trips with Phil.  She was a fan of Elvis, the NY Yankees and Giants and also enjoyed gardening.  She was a very graceful, classy and caring person who was totally devoted to her family, all of whom will miss her dearly.

     Survivors include her three loving sons; Richard (Marcie) Iannazzo of Stratford, Reid (Patti) Iannazzo of Norwalk, and Robert Iannazzo and Kathy Harvey of Trumbull. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Philip, Richard, and Rachel Iannazzo, Nicole (Gary) Walsh, her great granddaughter Addison Walsh, her sister Gertrude Restivo of FL, and many nieces and nephews.  She was also predeceased by her brother Joseph Thibodeau and sister Theresa McKibbin.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 4, 10 AM at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Rd., Norwalk, with entombment to follow at St. John Cemetery.  Giselle’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Sunday from 3-6 PM.  In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN, 38105 (http://www.stjude.org), The American heart Assoc., 5 Brookside Dr. PO Box 5022 Wallingford, CT 06492 (http://www.heart.org), or LIVFREE, P.O.
