Paul Edward Geda of Norwalk, CT, age 71, beloved husband of Kathleen Passaglia Geda, passed away at home on July 2, 2018. Paul was born in Norwalk, but resided in Torrington, CT for most of his childhood. He was the only child of Edward and Elsie Reynolds Geda.
Paul retired from SVG over a decade ago and worked in the QC Department. In his spare time, his number one desire was to fish whenever and wherever he could. He never went on vacation without at least two fishing poles, his tackle box, and the strong desire to find a new place to fish. He was a “newsy” in the fullest sense of the word; liked to study maps and was an avid reader.
In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by a son Paul E. (Stormy) Geda Jr., and daughter Wendy Hall and five grandchildren; Zack and Alyssa Hall, Abigail, Jordan and Adam Geda. He is also survived by Keith, Matthew and Melisa Bedell, the children of the late Bobby Bedell, his cousin and close childhood friend. He also left behind his aunt, Norma Pavlik, cousin Gary Pavlik, sister-in-law Peggy Kiefer and brother-in-law, Bill Kiefer.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 9 from 5-7 PM, at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue Norwalk. Burial will be private.
