Beautiful, I was truly saddened to read of Al's passing. As you know, I had been trying to get a hold of home for some 30_40 years! He was my best all round teacher I ever had. I think he was just out of college, teaching 6th grade at Kendal School in 1952. I'm demoralised not being able to tell him this in person. I spoke with you about my wanting to contact him at the Lions club several years ago. Hoping you are well ,free of the virus.

Al was a great man, always had a smile. I had my horse on his farm, he loved that horse and all his farm animals. May you ride that tractor in heaven Al, God Bless

I am so Blessed to have made the acquaintance of this wonderful man. I first met Albert last year when he was haying the field on Butterfield Rd in Newtown, adjacent to where I was working. He put in more than a days work for weeks until the job was done, and he always had a smile on his face. He had a twinkle in his eye when he reminisced about working and loving the land! He spoke fondly of his wife, and friend who helped him with his equipment :). He was an inspiration to talk to as he hauled bails up onto the truck. He worried more about me getting bit by a tic, while barefoot in the field, than I was worried about him putting in so many hours right up until dark. Rest in Peace Dear Man & my sincerest sympathy to his wife and family...Kim

I bowled with Al for the past 19 years. We bowled together on the same team a couple of times and we bowled against each other often. We enjoyed each other's company especially after bowling when we would sometimes chat. From our conversations I learned that he was a good man who very much loved his family and friends. He was fun to be around. All the bowlers marveled at his unique style of bowling with his 16 pound ball. It is with my deepest and sincerest sympathy that I send this message. When it thunders, I'll think of Al knocking down ten pins in the sky!
With love and friendship,
Joe Sabol

Bea,
I have very fond memories of Al bringing alphalfa for my goats many years ago. He was so helpful and taught me how to be a farmer. He would come from Newtown in all weather and always had a smile and good word for this fledgling farmer.
love and peace to you.

My sympathy to you and your family on the loss of Al. He loved his farm, his church and his family. He was an active member of the Lions Club and was a strong defender of helping those with visual impairments.
He will be missed.
