Angela A. (Somma) Perillo

Angela Antonietta (Somma) Perillo, age 94 beloved wife of the late Joseph Perillo passed away on Tuesday July 10, 2018 at Norwalk Hospital. Angela was born on July 5, 1924 in San Rufo, Italy, daughter of the late Francesco and Maddalena (Dalto) Somma.

Angela was the former Co-Owner along with her husband of Perillo’s Restaurant from 1969 to 1995, she loved cooking for her family and was a longtime member of St. Mary Church and loved to sing in the choir   

Angela is survived by her daughters, Maria and her husband Vincent Sciarabba and Madeline and her husband John Grenier , 6 grandchildren, Lisa Butova, Angela Sciarabba, Earnest, Jason, Jamie and Bobby Grenier, and 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her son Anthony Perillo, brothers Nicola “Nick” and Cono Somma and sisters Rosa Rinaldi, Francesca Marmo and Maria Lucia.      

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday July 17, 2018 at 10 am in St. Mary Church 669 West Avenue, Norwalk. Entombment will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk. Calling hours will be Monday July 16 from 4 to 7 pm at The Magner Funeral Home 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk.
