Ann Daniels Obituary

Ann McMahon Daniels, 92, of Norwalk, died peacefully on January 11, 2019 at Wilton Meadows. Born in Norwalk, the daughter of the late John F. and Mary (Curry) McMahon, she was the wife of the late Robert S. “Moose” Daniels. Before raising her family she worked for Bristol Myers.  Ann was a member of Shorehaven Golf Club, and could often be found by the pool with a good book.  She also served on the Women’s Board at Norwalk Hospital and volunteered at Treasure House. She loved bowling, bridge and she loved people, and in turn she was loved by all who knew her.

Ann is survived by her children; Robert Daniels Jr. and Jane of Hampstead, NH, Barbara Wasley and Ric of S. Yarmouth, MA, Thomas Daniels and Jean of Norwalk, Laurence Daniels and Pat of Milford, DeeDee Pramer and Dave of Norwalk and Timothy Daniels of Ft Myers Beach, FL, 12 loving grandchildren, 5 cherished great-grandchildren, a sister Jane Staff of Norwalk, and sister-in-law Mary McMahon of Clearwater, FL, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother John "Jack" McMahon and sister Frances Harter. 

Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 5-7 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Wed., Jan 16 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St., John Cemetery. Her family wishes to acknowledge the staff at The Marvin and Masonicare, Regional Hospice and Palliative Care and Wilton Meadows and for their friendship and care.  Memorial donations may be made to: The Marvin/Under One Roof (themarvin@underoneroofinc.org)
