Ann B. (Bogdany) Troy

Ann Troy, 91, lifelong resident of Norwalk entered into eternal peace on December 14, 2018.  Mrs. Troy was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth Bogdany and the loving wife of Joseph A Troy Jr.  Ann is survived by her six devoted children and their spouses; Joan & Doug Geyer of Redding, CT, M Beth Troy & Bill Rolls of New Milford, CT, Diane & Charles Merrifield, Michael & Joan Troy, Patrick & Leslie Troy all of Newtown, CT and Joseph & Tracy Troy III of Westport, CT. She is also survived by her sister, Jane Novotnik, of Norwalk, CT.

Ann was a daily communicant and longtime parishioner of St Matthews RC Church. She was a registered nurse, graduating from the St. Vincent’s School of Nursing, and former Pediatric Nursing leader at Norwalk Hospital.

She will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by her children, their spouses, 13 grandchildren: Jill & Rob Merrifield, Michael, Kristen & Kevin Troy, Rory, Claire, & Kieran Geyer, Samantha & Olivia Troy, Kyle, Matthew, and Colby Troy, and her 6 great grandchildren: Peyton, Gavin, Brady, & Cameron Merrifield, and Abigail & Thomas Troy.

The Troy family will receive friends at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk, on Wednesday, December 19 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.  A mass of Christian burial will follow at St Matthews Church, 216 Scribner Ave, Norwalk at 10:30 am.  Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery.
